I am from Cabo Rojo, but currently live in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.​ I'm an Associate professor at UPR Aguadilla.​ I have a BA in English Literature form UPR Mayaguez and a BA in English from The University of Akron in Ohio. My first love is literature--both reading and teaching it. I'm a  voracious reader of many kinds of books.  I'm very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach the Introduction to Literature classes, which I love!!!

 

My second love is technology. I have always had a knack for understanding and manipulating new gadgets. I have also been lucky enough to experience the emergence of so many wonderlful new gadgets during my lifetime, the mind boggles!! I started working with technology when I joined the English Department faculty at UPR Aguadilla back in 1996.  The department offers a BA in Education in English with Multimedia Technology and I am fortunate to be offering technology integration courses since 2008. In short, I get paid to teach others how to play with computers!!

 

My next love is travel, which I indulge in any chance I get.  The result is a wall full of souvenirs and many, many, wonderful memories. You can get more information about my personal books and travels in my personal website.
